Welcome to the Sunshine Coast Cardiology practice.

Sunshine Coast Cardiology is the private specialist cardiology practice of  Dr Steven Kypraios, located at Buderim. Our goal is to provide excellent and caring private cardiology services to the local community through a Sunshine Coast based practice, partnering with leading local institutions.

Dr Steven Kypraios is an established cardiac specialist who has been living and practicing cardiology on the Sunshine Coast since 2006. His arrival saw the introduction of the interventional cardiology (angioplasty and stenting) service to the Buderim Private Hospital in 2007.  Dr Kypraios lives in your community.  Sunshine Coast Cardiology is a local Sunshine Coast business, employing local people, and a major contributor to the development of private cardiology services in this region.

The practice is located right on the campus of the Buderim Private Hospital, the region’s leading private cardiac centre, and three- minute walk from the hospital’s main entrance. Our beautiful and modern facility is custom designed and equipped with the latest technology for the diagnosis of heart disease. Free reserved patient parking is available on site for your clinic visits. Our experienced and professional staff members are at your service.

Dr Steven Kypraios is a leading local expert in the areas of interventional cardiology, cardiac chest pain diagnosis management, stress testing, pacemakers, diagnostic cardiac imaging and heart disease prevention and management. Our practice offers a comprehensive range of clinical services to look after your heart, including clinical office consultations, in- patient care at Buderim Private Hospital, diagnostic testing and interventional therapies for cardiac conditions including coronary heart disease, heart attack, heart rhythm disorders and heart failure.

Dr Kypraios participates in Buderim Hospital’s 24 hour on- call emergency interventional cardiology and general cardiology rosters.
